Director, Piano and Vocal Tutor

I started piano lessons at the age of 8, and soon found a love for composition - by age 10 I was enthusiastically writing my own songs! At age 17 I began teaching piano to children whilst completing my own piano grades. This formal training in classical piano led me to pursue a degree in Contemporary Music from the Academy of Contemporary Music, where I specialised in voice and composition. After a brief period as a pop star in a girl band, I went on to write songs for the hit platinum selling band, Big Brovas.

A change of direction led me complete a second degree in HR Business Management which prompted a move to a career in the city, while continuing to teach music part-time.

During 2013, whilst teaching, I realised how much I missed being in the creative environment where I could express my love of music and more importantly share it with others. It was then that I decided to leave behind my career in business to form Summit School of Music in early 2014. Summit has grown rapidly since then, expanding its student base and taking on more tutors to make a team of eight.

Piano Tutor: Harrow

I have been studying piano since I was eight years old. I enrolled at the "G. Rossini" Conservatoire and later at the "L. D'Annunzio" Conservatoire where I graduated in Piano Performance.

During my studies, in the Conservatoires, I performed several times for public events at "G. Pedrotti" hall in Pesaro (Italy), "L. D'Annunzio" hall and "Sala Bellisario" in Pescara (Italy). I've also performed as soloist in various classical music events, such as at Auditorium "La manna" in Civitanova Marche (Italy), "D. Lazzaretti" Theatre in Morrovalle (Italy), "Villa Barruchello" in Porto Sant'Elpidio (Italy).

My strong passion for the music teaching and Music Therapy led me to understand the importance of the music in childrens' development, especially in special education needs.

I love to create a fun environment during lessons, in order to stimulate my students to enjoy both the music and piano practices.

Gabrielle Doublein, Piano Tutor

Gabrielle Doublein

Piano Tutor: High Wycombe

I started formal piano lessons at the age of 9 in France. Two years later, I moved to England and continued my studies and formal training progressing through the graded syllabus. By the age of 17, I was performing regularly and exploring a varied repertoire; this is where I discovered my passion for Classical, Baroque and Jazz.

I've been teaching for a couple years now and love sharing my love and passion for music with our students. I have a special interest in young beginners and take pride in ensuring that lessons have the right mix of fun and structured learning which is crucial for our young musicians.

I am currently working towards my grade 8 piano exam so can provide real accurate insight into the level of dedication and consistency needed to learn an instrument, as well as the up to date knowledge of the exam process.

I look forward to getting your child started on their musical journey!
